Moody Fall Hues with our Canadian Brands at Finery

This Autumn is all about embracing the rich, moody hues of the season (& sipping on PSL’S)! Think deep burgundies, forest greens, and warm, earthy browns. These colors exude sophistication and create a cozy, fall-appropriate aesthetic. We carry an array of different brands at Finery, our Special Occasion wear store at our original location on 124st; today I want to showcase our Canadian brands. Hilary MacMillan & Nadya Toto. Both brands have done a spectacular job of capturing the essence of fall in their pieces. 

Let’s start with our first Canadian brand, Hilary Macmillan! Based out of Toronto, this brand carries clothing for any event. One thing I LOVE about Hilary Macmillan is that they carry sizes ranging from XS-4X. Executing the vibes for the season while keeping pieces classy & keeping up with trends can be hard for some brands, but they’ve hit this nail right on the head! From open back Velvety dresses (yes, you heard me. Velvet is BACK, baby!) to mesh - HM has it all this fall 😉.

One thing to note about me is I’m not typically a fan of heavily patterned dresses, however Nadya Toto swayed my mind. This fall we’ve received garments with everything from mushrooms and foxes that dance across the dress to brightly colored florals and birds!  Nadya Toto has a way of keeping fashion fun, yet functional. I imagine these pieces in a slightly more professional setting (think conference, work party, etc.), however they can be worn to more formal events as well. I believe it’s about how YOU wear the dress that determines where it can be worn.
